I enjoy photographing families and children, and have an informal, 'fly on the wall' approach to this kind of photography. The style draws on traditional documentary photography, where the people are aware of the photographer but are not reacting to the camera directly, as they might in a formal portrait.

I feel this is a more natural approach to family photography than posing in front of a camera in a studio. You would be in a place of your choice, like your home or garden, or in a nearby park or playground. After a while you can even begin to forget there is someone pointing a camera at you!

I can also make more formal natural light portraits on location or in your own home.
