Natural Wedding Photography
My wedding photography, like my family photography, is done is a 'reportage' style, informal and unposed. As a documentary photographer, I feel that this style can provide a fuller and more realistic record of the day as a whole than formal group photos.

Rather than reacting to the camera, you and your guests are photographed interacting with each other, giving a feel to the pictures which is often more in tune with the experience of being there. When photographing a wedding I aim to blend in, rather than take over, and get pictures of people just enjoying the special day.

Most couples do like a few group shots too, and I’m happy to do some alongside the informal pictures if you wish.

Before you finalise the booking, I like to meet in person whenever possible and go through what you would like, to make sure you get the coverage you need for each part of your day.
You also have the chance to look through a larger portfolio of photographs, with examples of pictures representing a full wedding shoot if you wish.

Wedding Photography Packages
This style of photography does produce more images than traditional, posed wedding photos, so I usually supply the photographs on a CD, fully processed and ready to print. This leaves you free to print as many as you like, whatever size you like, and to email them to friends and family.
I can also supply prints as well if you prefer, individually prepared by me and printed in a top quality lab. Similarly, if you would like an album or photobook of your special day, please ask about these.

All the edited photos are also put onto an online gallery, with a password given to your guests, so that everyone can see them and oder copies if they like. This is also particularly useful for anybody who was unable to be there in person.

Premium Black & White Photography Service
Any of the photos can be supplied in black & white at no extra cost, please ask. However, I do also offer a premium service using genuine black & white film, printed by hand in my own darkroom - full details on the price list.

Family Occasions and Events
As well as weddings, I also take a similar approach to photographing parties, anniversaries and family events; any kind of social occasion where people mix and interact. Please contact me with the details for a quote.
